General Contracting
In General Contracting (GC), O&G Industries performs the construction pursuant to the terms of a contract directly with the owner. Typically the builder is determined by low bid (in accordance with detailed drawings and specifications) and assumes the risk for cost and schedule. In this type of delivery, we have the option to use our own forces to perform the work and/or we may subcontract with others. The owner might hire a Clerk of the Works, Construction Manager or Program Manager to observe the work.
