Program Management

With O&G Industries’ experience and proven capacity for successfully managing and delivering projects on behalf of its public and private sector clients, the company also offers services in overall project planning, programming, and administration to suit a client’s needs.  Program Management offers a customized array of consulting and management services that are designed to assist clients with single or multiple projects by providing an experienced team of individuals to complement a client’s in-house staff.

In many cases the client’s responsibility for management and the burden of project implementation rests with one individual or a few staff members.  O&G can provide specialized managers to fit the immediate circumstances and the long-term objectives of a development program.  The various and multiple tasks involved with carrying out a successful project, whether administrative or technical, often require different expertise at different times.  Our planners, engineers, construction administrators, estimators, schedulers and fiscal managers are available for a customized manpower team on your project.  Efficiency, economies of scale and control of all project components can be offered by an experienced Program Management team.

O&G has acted as the Program Manager for the school construction programs in both Bridgeport and Waterbury, two of the largest cities and multi-phased construction efforts in Connecticut.  We provide owner’s representation, design management, budgeting, estimating, contract compliance, consultant solicitation and selection, project initiation, master scheduling, fiscal reporting and general administration.  In this role, O&G works closely with city and state agencies, as well as the individual project architects, engineers, and construction managers or general contractors.  In these cases we manage multi-year programs involving the planning and construction of numerous school projects.
