Designed by PB Power, Inc., a Parsons Brinckerhoff company, this power plant is owned and operated by the Pennsylvania Power and Light Co. The facility is a 250 MW power plant run by natural gas. There are five separate LM-6000 250 MW gas-fired turbines. O&G’s role on this project consisted of all “civil work” including demolition, furnishing and installing 15,000 feet of underground utilities, 20,000 cubic yards of excavation, 3,200 cubic yards of structural concrete, 36,000 square feet of noise barrier walls up to 50 feet in height, Operations building, Gas Compressor building, final grading, paving and landscaping.
