The Goodwin Dam Hydroelectric Facility, a 3Mw plant owned by The Metropolitan District, was dedicated in June of 1986.  The project was executed in fifteen months with O&G performing over 42% of the work with its own forces.  In addition to placing 2,600 cubic yards of structural concrete for the plant, O&G built a 2,000 lineal foot access road to the site and drilled and blasted rock for the trailrace channel.  Installation of an 84" penstock and two power-generation turbines was also part of the contract.
