Wellness Program
The
Wellness Program provides participants a Health Insurance Contribution discount as well as steps to leading a healthier lifestyle. At O&G we believe that healthier employees are happier employees.
O&G’s Wellness Program incorporates the following elements:
Annual Health Risk Appraisals - provide confidential information to employees on their risk factors (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.)
Wellness Contribution Reductions - provide a $15 a week reduction in employee contributions when an employee participates in the program and an additional $15 reduction when a health-plan enrolled spouse also participates
Wellness Rewards - recognize health achievements. whether in healthy activities or reduction on risk factors, as motivators for better individual health
General Health Education - includes written and presented information on a variety of timely and requested topics

Defined Benefit Pension Plan
The centerpiece of the employee retirement benefits is O&G’s Defined Benefit Pension Plan (DBP Plan). While many companies have moved away from these generous retirement plans, O&G believes in continually investing in our employees’ long-term financial security and has kept the DBP Plan unchanged.

Life Insurance & Accidental Death and Dismemberment
O&G offers all of its full-time employees a 100% company paid life insurance plan with a maximum benefit of $50,000 based on salary increments. Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage is also provided. In addition to the Life Insurance and AD&D coverage, Cigna also provides employees with numerous benefits through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Disability Insurance
O&G offers all of its full-time employees a long-term disability program that provides partial income in the event that an employee becomes totally disabled for more than six months due to an illness or injury. The benefit is based upon sixty percent (60%) of the employees salary along with Social Security.

O & G's paid time off includes
sick leave - which is designed to provide temporarily incapacitated employees with income when they need it most
vacation pay - which is based on years of service and follows a fiscal year of December 1st through November 30th
